My wife Toni and I weren’t really into RV camping until we discovered the world of conversion vans.
Believe it or not, an ambulance makes a perfect subject for conversion. It has all the bins and storage places that you need, and you can even reuse these or just rip them all out and start fresh.
This website is about our journey converting a craigslist-found ambulance into our personalized home away from home on wheels. We invite you to join us as we modify, improve, and discover new places to camp.
We didn’t begin recording our progress until we were surprised by the fact we were actually going to complete this project.
Some of our stories on this site will be reminiscing and backtracking quite a bit, but we will try to be as thorough in our documentation as possible.
